The RIMAS Governing Council consists of professionals and Academics in fields and industries related to Risk Management. All Council Board Members have years of experience and are respected by peers and colleagues alike. All board members actively work or participate in a related industry and give their time willingly.
Mr. Andeed Ma
Andeed has been elected into Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS) as the President on 20 February 2020. He has presently involved in operation works for a technology company.
He has also involved in Offshore Civil Engineering, Demolition and marine maintenance projects in Major Oil & Gas companies. It was during this period, Andeed joined RIMAS in 2010 as an ordinary member through a Business Continuity event. In 2014, he was elected into the Council.
Performing the role as Chairman to an Information Technology (IT) Committee for RIMAS, Andeed participates actively in proposing IT-Risk related topics for members, planning and executing Social Media Marketing, Website Revamp and Blog for RIMAS. In 2018, he was elected as the Honorary Secretary and led an initiative to offer exclusivity to all our members with a RIMAS App which brought everyone closer together.
As a graduate from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Building, Andeed started out his career in Building Construction Authority (BCA) and several other highly hazardous industries, while pursuing his degree. One such project is the world’s biggest underground depot, Kim Chuan Depot, for housing trains catering to Circle Line and Downtown Line.
Being an IT-aligned Business Manager has led Andeed into his obtainment of a Graduate Diploma in IT Services (Database Management).
Andeed is also a Key Opinion Leader in spaces of reputational risk and emerging technologies for productivity, incident management, crisis management, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC), Enterprise Risk Management and more to bring people and process closer together.
1st Vice President
Mr. Henry Ee
Henry is the Founder and Managing Director of BCP Asia. He is also the Regional Director for Business Continuity Institute Asia. Having been in the business continuity profession for more than 17 years, he has been actively contributing to the industry’s wider understanding in business continuity.
Henry earned his academic degree at the University of Essex (UK) where he majored in Electronics Systems Engineering with first class honours. He is currently a professionally certified FBCI and CBCP by the two well-renowned institutions – the Business Continuity Institute, UK and Disaster Recovery Institute International, US. Henry is the Regional Director of BCI (Asia) since 2008 and he was the first Asian to serve as a BCI Board Member in 2006. In contributing to the business continuity industry, was involved in setting up the BCM Standards: Singapore Standard SS540:2008, British Standard BS25999:2007, ASIS, SS507 and ISO22301. He was officially appointed as the BCM Auditor for SPRING Singapore and various certification bodies. Henry was also the founding member of the Business Continuity Group (BCG) and advisor for the China BCM Committee (CBCM).
Henry is active on the conference circuit as well as organizing and conducting training in the area of Business Continuity, Business Impact Analysis, Risk Analysis, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management. In his over 15 years of experience, he has implemented more than 100 projects and trained more than 5,000 professionals in business continuity management. During his career, Henry had successfully activated the recovery plans for strikes, Y2K, 911, SARS and H1N1. Prior to this, Henry held two senior positions in two international banks namely ABN Amro and JP Morgan Chase where he started his BCM career.
Apart from training, Henry has executed many consultancy projects for companies in the Banking, Information Technology, Shipping, Electronics, Airline, Transportation, Telecommunication and Semiconductor industries from around Asia namely Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Middle East.
In BCP Asia’s journey of BCM programme leading to certification, Henry chaired the BCM Steering Committee. Under his drive and supervision, BCP Asia achieved dual BCM Certifications in BS25999-2:2007 and SS540:2008.

Mr. Sean Chan Sik Lung

Sean has been a RIMAS Governing Council Member since 2007 and elected as President in 2013.
He has been involved in risk management, asset management and internal audit in power and oil & gas industries since 1997. His risk management experience includes establishment of risk management functions, development and implementation of ERM framework and processes for various companies both local and overseas. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions from Superintendent to Director in ship management and marine consultancy companies in Hong Kong.
Sean holds a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical and Marine Engineering. He obtained the status of a Chartered Engineer (UK) in 1996 and Certified Lead Auditor in QMS in 2000.
Mr. Sim Siang Leng

Sim Siang Leng has more than 15 years of working experience in both public and private sectors, primarily holding risk analytics and management positions. He currently heads the risk management department of a Singapore-based real estate and hospitality firm, and concurrently oversees the compliance of personal data protection for the firm. Besides the implementation of risk management frameworks, he has been involved in investment risk analysis, insurance management, and business continuity planning. He is also actively supporting contract and project management.
Siang Leng holds a Master in Business Administration with a double specialization in strategy and marketing research, and also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
Mr. Ryan Adnin Goh, MBa, CISA, CEI

Mr. Ryan possesses over 11 years of experience in Risk Management and has consulted various IPCs, Charities, Non-Profits, and Social Enterprises as well as corporations on their sustainability and social outcomes, including sitting on the board of directors for social enterprises and non-profits. He was also part of the team that set up the first carbon credit exchange in Singapore. He is a specialist in assessing and developing tailored business solutions in the areas of HR, IT, and Business Strategy to enhance business performance, including performing IT and HR risk assessments to better aid organizations to improve their governance and controls.
Ryan has also founded, participated, and consulted on projects in an executive capacity fuelling the growth of multiple digital-ready companies across 3 continents; Africa, Europe and the Asia Pacific, including experience in mergers and acquisition (M&A), risk management, technology transformation, human resource transformation, business strategy and modelling.

Dr. Roy Rimington was the president of RIMAS from 2010 to 2012. Currently, he is a RIMAS Council Member and Chairman of the Advisory Committee. He has held senior management positions for over 30 years in major electrical, electronic, and automotive international companies in the United Kingdom and East Asia such as Lucas Industries, the General Electric Company, Tatung Co (Taiwan) and Siemens Telecommunications. Also, having over 16 years of full-time working experience in the Singapore Public Service, including being a Senior Manager at the Civil Service College.
He has a wide range of experience in the areas of Quality, Business Excellence, Auditing, Risk and Business Continuity Management, Manufacture, Service, Military, Security, Health Care, Education and public sectors, and has worked on major projects related to establishment of Joint Ventures and Nuclear Power Stations. He is an adjunct MSc University Lecturer, and a Singapore Citizen.
Dr Rimington, is Member of Singapore Working Group in development of ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard and guide 73, and has been a member of the Management Systems Standards Committee (MSSC) - coordinated by SPRING/ Enterprise Singapore. Awarded SPRING Singapore Standards Partner Merit Award in 2015 for contribution in development of standards. An industry professional with Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISO27001 Lead Auditor, qualified ACTA trainer, Ivy has been advocating proactive cyber defence through training and consulting. Experienced in providing technology business consulting, strategic account management, industry collaborations, sales & marketing, Ivy also has substantial project and tender management across industries. Ivy is currently the Senior Director of CSIntelligence overseeing Security Operations, Sales & Marketing.

Yoke Chye is an experienced project and risk management professional with more than 20 years of expertise in training and application of risk management and project management methodology.
His risk management expertise covers enterprise risks, project and portfolio risks as well as cybersecurity risks. Likewise his project management experience cover both agile and waterfall methodology.
Yoke Chye graduated with a double Master in industrial system engineering and business administration. Currently, he is working as a deputy director in Singapore Power looking after enterprise risks and critical information infrastructure cybersecurity risks.

Mr. Dennis Poh Wei Song

Mr. Dennis Poh is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legatcy. His mission is to professionalize advisory services for start-ups and SMEs across Asia and has since assisted several start-ups with their due diligence and completion for their Seed to Series B fundraising and exits. With a decade’s experience in Asia’s start-up space, Dennis has an extensive network of disruptive ventures.

She is a professional advisor who founded First Global Risk Solutions and is a managing consultant to a clientele of listed corporations and SMEs in South East Asia providing governance, risk, compliance, corporate insurance and assurance advisory services.
Geetha held senior leadership positions in multinational firms. She was the Vice President of Group Risk in Barclays Banks PLC providing expert risk assessment including risk financial transfer solutions advisory across business lines and corporate functions globally within the Bank where she spent almost a decade. Prior to that she was the Regional Chief Internal Auditor, APAC for Cadbury PLC where she was integral to the paradigm shift of the internal audit function towards risk based approach.
Geetha’s business strategy and leadership skills was proven where she held the position as the Principal Officer for the insurance arm (Singapore Aviation General Insurance Association Pte Ltd) of Singapore Airlines Ltd driving the business strategy change yielding a 20% increase in profits with the application of appropriate risk appetite. Geetha also spent several years as the Risk Manager for the listed ground handling group of companies of Singapore Airlines Ltd where she established the enterprise risk management framework from scratch. Ms Kanagasingam Tizi began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where she progressed to Manager of the Global Risk Advisory Solutions Division providing risk management and internal audit advisory services to large multination and local listed corporations.
Her qualifications include Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with U21 Global School for Global Leaders in Singapore; Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, Certified Internal Auditor of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), New York, USA and Certified Professional in Financial Crime (Anti- Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism) with International Compliance Association, UK.
Geetha is a professional member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers Association and International Compliance Association, United Kingdom. Ms. Ng Hwee Hong

Ms Ng Hwee Hong has been elected as RIMAS Council member since 1999. In the past, she held other positions within the Association as Honorary Secretary, President and 1st Vice President.
Hwee Hong has been working in the areas of captive insurance management and risk management for more than 20 years. During which, she has acted as principal officer of the captive insurance companies under her management and was responsible for the efficient performance of the captives’ operations as well as all aspects of local regulatory compliance.
She has experience in conducting captive feasibility studies and compiling reinsurance submissions, board papers, budgets and cash-flow statements for the captive insurance companies under management. Hwee Hong has also been involved in the administration of global and local insurance programmes on behalf of clients throughout the region and acts as a liaison between underwriters, insurance brokers and clients.
She holds an Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
